What is Pinball Republic?
We are a venue for people who enjoy playing pinball, either on their own or with others, both socially and competitively. Upon entry, all our machines (over 70 of them!) are on free play.
Who can attend?
Anyone, young or old, can visit any time we are open. Members get free entry while visitors pay on the door. Payment is by credit/debit card, mobile payments, or with one of our pre-paid gift vouchers.
HOW LONG CAN I PLAY FOR?
You can play until the end of the session or, if you have purchased a whole day admission, until closing time.
DO I NEED COINS TO PLAY?
Once inside, all our games are set to free play. Cash is only needed to purchase refreshments from our vending machine
WhAT ABOUT CHILDREN?
Children are admitted with an adult, and we have some step-stools for the little ones to help them see the action! We do ask that children who have not played pinball before are shown how to start a single game, and encouraged to flip when the ball is on the flipper, rather than “Seal flapping” – This helps us to keep the older machines working for all to enjoy – Thank you.
DO YOU PROVIDE REFRESHMENTS?
We sell sweets, crisps and cold soft drinks from our vending machine. Members have the use of our kettle and microwave oven. Players may bring their own food and drink for consumption within the venue.
WhAT ABOUT ALCOHOL?
We don’t have a bar and we’re not licensed to sell alcohol, but you are welcome to bring alcoholic drinks along for your own personal consumption – Please note that drinking outside of the club is forbidden by the rules of the centre.
can I HIRE PINBALL REPUBLIC LONDON FOR MY PRIVATE EVENT?
Yes indeed, depending on the availability of one of the staff to host.
